I've heard the melano referred to as "the little black dress" of collectors! You can never have too many! They have that stunning dark velvet iridescence shared by the micans and gigas, but without the drama! Will need a support pole. Potted in coco peat & perlite soilless mix.

In general, collectible aroids enjoy humidity in the 60-80% range. Depending on your geographic location, this can be accomplished in your house's ambient humidity, or kept in a lighted cabinent to retain humidity at elevated levels compared to the rest of the house. Adequate light and fertilizer are also must haves in your tropical plant care routine. Every collector has slightly different care tactics, however if you're interested in mine, I'm happy to share.
