In general, collectible aroids enjoy humidity in the 60-80% range. Depending on your geographic location, this can be accomplished in your house's ambient humidity, or kept in a lighted cabinent to retain humidity at elevated levels compared to the rest of the house. Adequate light and fertilizer are also must haves in your tropical plant care routine. Every collector has slightly different care tactics, however if you're interested in mine, I'm happy to share. I ship in cardboard boxes with polyfil stuffing, generally in its photographed pot to avoid any root disturbance. Large pots with a lot of media may need the root ball removed from pot and wrapped to decrease shipping cost. (When specified) Foil bubble lining for boxes and heat packs (3 day or 5 day) are available for winter shipping. Please be aware that heat packs are only appropriate for low temperatures down to the mid to high 20s at the very lowest. They cannot overcome single digit temperatures. I am willing to hold purchases up to 3 weeks until warmer shipping weather arrives. (Or cooler weather in summer...I try to avoid shipping over 90 degrees.) Each plant is propagated and grown here, and is a one of a kind, I strive to make its trip to you as successful as possible!
